Many Thanks to all members who attended the meeting.
The meeting saw Barrie Rose invest Elwyn Howells as chairman, who then in turn invested Caron Barlow as Senior Vice and Pat Roberts as Junior Vice.
The LVA accounts were produced to all members in attendance.
After the meeting members, and their guests, had a wonderful meal courtesy of the Cliff Hotel and their experienced staff and were entertained by the Fantastic Duo,Toccata.
AN EVENING AT THE DOGS
Venue: Great Yarmouth Stadium
A very pleasant evening was had by all who attended.
The staff from Great Yarmouth Stadium were all very helpful and the service was excellent.The buffet went down a treat and was of superior quality.There was a slight confusion of what horses where running until it was realised they were dogs ! And why couldn`t I bet on the hare !
Many thanks to Justin and his team at Great Yarmouth Stadium and may we look to a possible return visit next year.
GENERAL MEETING AND SMOKING INFORMATION with

Many Thanks to Ivan Clark from Great Yarmouth`s smoke free co-ordination team, for giving up his time to update us on the smoking ban. Although the attendance was poor, those who attended where given the chance to ask questions specifically tailored to their business and they were more than satisfied with the answers given.
Booker Wholesalers provided an information booklet,on their range of products available, in preparation for the ban. These are still available from the Chairman , Elwyn Howells , at the Prince Regent Public House or call in to your nearest Bookers.

SUMMER BBQ with tastings by CARLING C2 and BRITVIC
Venue: Burgh Hall Bradwell
A fantastic evening was had by all at our Summer BBQ. Many thanks go out to our President and all his team at Burgh Hall.
The food was superb and the showcase of Live Acts were brilliant.Acts that appeared. . Destiny,”G”,Andy York and Nick Moore.There were tastings of Carling C2 and the new range of juices from Britvic.Thanks go out to the Representatives of these companies for turning up and giving out freebies too ! Bookers Wholesalers arranged the tastings.
Well done to our Raffle winner Mr Ray He receives two FREE TICKETS to the LVA BANQUET AND BALL in November.
Our secretary deserves a massive round of applause for all his efforts to organise this event( and all the others ! ).
Lastly thanks go to your committee for all their help in putting this event together.
